चिपळूण तालुक्यातील महसूल विभागात अनेक वर्षांपासून नवीन कर्मचारी भरती करण्यात आलेली नाही. त्यामुळे तालुक्यातील केवळ ४२ तलाठी १३० गावांचा कारभार सांभाळत असल्याचे चित्र दिसून येत आहे. चिपळूण तालुक्यात एकूण २२ तलाठी पदे रिक्त आहेत.

चिपळूण तालुक्यातील १३० गावांसाठी ६४ तलाठी पदे मंजूर आहेत. यातील केवळ ४२ तलाठी कार्यरत आहेत. अनेक गावात ग्रामीण दुर्गम भागातून येणाऱ्या विद्यार्थी, शेतकरी तसेच ग्रामस्थांना विविध शासकीय दाखले घेण्यासाठी तलाठी कार्यालयात फेऱ्या माराव्या लागत आहेत. रिक्त पदांमुळे नागरिकांचे काम वेळेवर होत नसल्याने अनेकवेळा तलाठी कार्यालयात गोंधळ उडत आहे. शासनाने सातबारा ऑनलाइन केला असला तरी त्या सातबारावर तलाठीकडून शिक्का घ्यावा लागतो. त्यासाठी तलाठी कार्यालयात यावेच लागते तसेच विविध प्रकारच्या दाखल्यांसाठी तलाठी कार्यालयात यावे लागते. आधीच एका तलाठ्याकडे तीन ते पाच गावांचा कारभार असतो. रिक्त पदांमुळे शेजारी गावांचा भारही त्याच तलाठ्यावर येतो. चिपळूण तालुक्यातील अनेक गावच्या वाड्या डोंगराळ भागात आहेत. तलाठी कार्यालयात येण्यासाठी त्यांना वाहन लागते. कार्यालयामध्ये तलाठी उपलब्ध नसतील तर ग्रामस्थांना मनस्ताप सहन करावा लागतो.

तत्काळ तलाठी भरती करावी

तलाठ्यांकडे जमीन महसूल वसुली, उतारे, वारसदाखले, फेरफार, उत्पन्नाचे पंचनामे, निवडणूक कामे, नैसर्गिक आपत्ती पंचनामे, रेशनकार्ड, प्रधानमंत्री किसान योजना, स्वामित्व धन वसूल करणे ही कामे असतात. त्यामुळे लवकर तलाठी पदभरती करून नागरिकांचादेखील त्रास कमी करावा.
