The Municipal Corporation has invited applications from the candidates for 43 vacant posts of Fire Extinguisher, Fireman Rescue group ‘D’ cadre in the fire department. Thirteen seats for 33 per cent women’s reservation have been reserved for women category. An advertisement was published in newspapers on March 16, 2023. Applications for these posts were invited online from March 26. According to the advertisement, the minimum height of the candidate applying for this post from the women category should be 162 centimetres and the weight should be at least 50 kg.

• पिंपरी चिंचवड महापालिका आस्थापनेवरील अग्निशमन विभागातील अग्निशमन विमोचक, फायरमन रेस्क्युअर या गट ‘ड’ संवर्गातील महिलांसाठी राखीव रिक्त पदांसाठी उंची व वजनाच्या पात्रतेमध्ये बदल करण्यात आला आहे. राज्य सरकारच्या अग्निशमन सेवा संचालनालयाची सुधारित अर्हता या पदांकरिता लागू करण्यात आली आहे.
• महापालिकेच्यावतीने अग्निशमन विभागातील अग्निशमन विमोचक, फायरमन रेस्क्युअर या गट ‘ड’ संवर्गातीलएकून ४३ रिक्त पदांसाठी सरळसेवा भरतीनुसार उमेदवारांकडून अर्ज मागविण्यात आले आहेत. त्यापैकी ३३ टक्के महिला आरक्षणाच्या तेरा जागा महिला प्रवर्गाकरिता राखीव ठेवण्यात आल्या आहेत. त्याकरिता १६ मार्च २०२३ मध्ये वर्तमानपत्रांमध्ये जाहिरात प्रसिद्ध करण्यात आली होती. २६ मार्चपासून ऑनलाइन पद्धतीने या पदांकरिता अर्ज मागविले होते. या जाहिरातीनुसार महिला प्रवर्गातून या पदाकरिता अर्ज करणाऱ्या उमेदवाराची किमान उंची १६२ सेंटीमीटर आणि वजन किमान पन्नास किलो असणे आवश्यक आहे, असे नमूद केले होते.

The examination fee will be charged in this recruitment process as follows.

1. Non-Reserve Rs. 1000/-
2. Backward Class / Economically Weaker Sections / Orphans Rs. 900/-
3. The exam fee is non-refundable.
4. The examination fee will not be applicable for ex-servicemen candidates…
5. If the recruitment process is postponed/cancelled due to any reason, the recruitment fee will not be refunded to the candidate.
