नवी मुंबई महापालिकेमध्ये मंजूर पदांपैकी अनेक पदे रिक्त असल्यामुळे अधिकारी, कर्मचाऱ्यांवर याचा ताण पडत आहे. अतिरिक्त कामांच्या ताणामुळे महापालिकेत कामानिमित्त येणाऱ्या नागरिकांना काम होईपर्यंत वारंवार हेलपाटे मारावे लागत आहेत. सध्या कार्यरत असणाऱ्या विविध संर्वगातील कर्मचाऱ्यांच्या पदोन्नत्या अनेक वर्षांपासून रखडल्याने त्यांच्यातदेखील कामांमध्ये निरुत्साह दिसून येत आहे. सर्व सरकारी जॉब्सची माहिती व्हाट्सअपवर मिळविण्यासाठी आमच्या व्हाट्सअप ग्रुपला जॉईन करा.
नवी मुंबई महापालिकेमध्ये चार हजार १९ पदे मंजूर असून सद्यस्थितीत पालिकेत अंदाजे दोन हजार ३३२ जण कार्यरत आहेत. तसेच करार पद्धतीवर ५२५ जण कार्यरत आहेत. असे एकूण पालिकेत दोन हजार ८२७ जण कार्यरत आहेत. त्यामुळे पालिकेत अंदाजे १ हजार १९२ कर्मचाऱ्यांचा तुटवडा आहे. त्यामुळे पालिकेतील कार्यरत कर्मचाऱ्यांवर यांचा अतिरिक्त कामांचा ताण पडत आहे; तरी पालिकेत १ हजार १९२ कर्मचाऱ्यांचा तुटवडा जाणवत असून पालिकेमध्ये लवकर भरती प्रक्रिया राबविण्यात येणार असल्याचे पालिकेच्या सूत्रांनी स्पष्ट केले असून त्यांची प्रक्रिया सुरू आहे. पालिकेमध्ये असणारी रिक्त पदे भरती करण्यात येणार असल्यामुळे कर्मचाऱ्यांवर पडणारा ताणदेखील कमी पडणार आहे.
