महाराष्ट्र राज्यामध्ये मुलींचे शिक्षण, आरोग्य यामध्ये सुधारणा करणे, त्यांच्या उज्वल भविष्याकरिता आर्थिक तरतूद करणे, बालिका भृणहत्या रोखणे, मुलींच्या जन्माबाबत समाजामध्ये सकारात्मक विचार आणणे, बालविवाह रोखणे आणि मुलां इतका मुलींचा जन्मदर वाढविणे या उद्देशाने राज्यात शासन निर्णय दिनांक 13 फेब्रुवारी 2014 अन्वये “सुकन्या” योजना सुरु करण्यात आली आहे. सुकन्या योजनेचे लाभ दिनांक 01 जानेवारी, 2014 पासून जन्मणाऱ्या मुलींकरिता अनुज्ञेय आहेत.
योजेनेचे स्वरूप
“माझी कन्या भाग्यश्री” या योजनेमध्ये पुढीलप्रमा 2 प्रकारचे लाभार्थ्यांना योजनेचे लाभ अनुज्ञेय राहतील.
| प्रकार-१ चे लाभार्थी | एकुलती एक मुलगी आहे व मातेने कुटुंबनियोजन केले आहे. |
| प्रकार-२ चे लाभार्थी | एक मुलगी आहे आणि मातेने दुस-या मुलीनंतर कुटुंब नियोजन शस्त्रक्रिया केलेली आहे. अशा परिस्थितीत दोन्ही मुलींना प्रकार-२ चे लाभ देय राहतील. मात्र एक मुलगा व एक मुलगी अशी परिस्थिती असल्यास लाभ अनुज्ञेय राहणार नाहीत. |
‘माझी कन्या भाग्यश्री’ या योजनेअंतर्गत यापूर्वीच्या “सुकन्या’ योजनेचे लाभ कायम ठेऊन खालीलप्रमाणे अधिक लाभ देण्यात येतील.
योजनेची उद्दिष्टे
- लिंग निवडीस प्रतिबंध करणे
- बालिकेचा जन्मदर वाढविणे
- मुलींच्या जीवनमानाच्या सुरक्षेबद्दल खात्री देणे
- बालिकेचा समान दर्जा व शैक्षणिक प्रोत्साहनाकरिता समाजात समाजात कायमस्वरूपी सामुहिक चळवळ निर्माण करणे
- मुलींच्या शिक्षणाबाबत प्रोत्साहन तथा खात्री देणे
- सामाजिक बदलाचे प्रमुख घटक म्हणून पंचायत राज संस्था, शहरी स्थानिक समित्या व स्थानिक स्तरावरील कर्मचारी यांना प्रशिक्षण देणे या कामामध्ये स्थानिक समुदाय, महिला मंडळे, महिला बचत गट, व युवक मंडळ यांचा सहभाग घेणे.
- जिल्हा, तालुका, व निम्नस्तरावर विविध संस्था व सेवा देणारे यांचा समन्वय घडवून आणणे.
Maharashtra Government started “Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana” as on 22nd January 2015. This scheme is initiated for improvement for the girls. By considering the girls conditions in the daily basis, there will be the change in the girls environment. For this the major change “Beti Bajao Beti Padhao” movement has started. As per this movement another movement of “Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme” is started. To provide the requrie respect to the girls in the culture this scheme is initiated.

- For increasing the total number of girls.
- Ban in identification of sex
- Incentive towards girls education
- Ban for child marriages
- Improve the child health
Benefits of Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme :
- Girls who born after 1st August 2017.
- Valid birth certificate
- Certificate of operation of Parents
- Girl father should be residence of Maharashtra state
- Parents annual income should not be exceeding than 7.50 lakh
- Beneficiaries Aadhaar card
- This scheme will be conduct by Bank of Maharashtra, therefore it is necessary to have account in bank of maharashtra
