चंद्रपूर वन विभागातील भरतीसाठी लेखी परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण उमेदवारांच्या मूळ दस्तऐवज तपासणी व शारीरिक मूल्यमापन सुरू असताना तृतीयपंथी उमेदवार समोर आल्याने अपात्र ठरणार काय, असा प्रश्न निर्माण झाला. भरती प्रक्रियेची कार्यवाही करणारे वन विभागाचे अधिकारीही पेचात सापडले. दरम्यान, प्रशासकीय पातळीवर हालचाली सुरू झाल्या. अखेर सोमवारी (दि. २९) राज्य शासनाच्या सचिवालयातून तृतीयपंथी उमेदवारांच्या मूल्यमापनाबाबत सूचना आल्या. ही माहिती तृतीयपंथी उमेदवाराला नोकरी मिळण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाल्याने ‘त्या’ उमेदवाराच्या चेहऱ्यावर हास्य फुलले आहे.

वन विभागाच्या वतीने विविध पदांसाठी सध्या चंद्रपुरात भरती प्रक्रिया सुरू आहे. लेखी परीक्षेमध्ये ४५ पेक्षा अधिक गुण असणाऱ्या उमेदवारांचे मूळ दस्तऐवज तपासणी व शारीरिक क्षमतेची मोजणी केली जात आहे. शारीरिक क्षमतेचे मोजमाप सुरू असताना पात्र उमेदवार म्हणून तृतीयपंथी उमेदवार समोर आला. या उमेदवाराची वर्गवारी कशी करावी, याकरिता संपूर्ण भरती प्रक्रियेतील अधिकारी व कर्मचारी संभ्रमात सापडले होते. तृतीयपंथी उमेदवाराला ४५ पेक्षा अधिक गुण असल्याने त्याला परत केल्यास त्याच्यावर अन्याय होईल. उमेदवाराने याबाबत तक्रार केल्यास अंगलट येईल, या धास्तीने भरती कार्यवाही राबविणाऱ्या पथकाने वनविभागाच्या वरिष्ठ अधिकाऱ्यांपासून महाराष्ट्र शासनाच्या सचिव पातळीवरील अधिकाऱ्यांशी तत्काळ संपर्क साधला.

नेमके घडले काय ? – त्यानंतर अवघ्या तीन दिवसांत राज्याच्या वनविभागाच्या सचिवांनी तृतीयपंथी उमेदवारांबाबत आदेश जारी केला. तृतीयपंथी उमेदवारांनी स्त्री व पुरुष संदर्भात स्वत:कडील सर्व कागदपत्रे सादर केली. त्यानुसार, त्याची शहानिशा करून त्या संवर्गामधून त्याची चाचणी घेण्याचे आदेशात नमूद केले आहे. त्यामुळे पेच दूर झाला. तृतीयपंथी संवर्गातून एकच उमेदवार होता व एकच जागा तृतीयपंथी उमेदवारासाठी राखीव आहे. मंत्रालयातील आदेशानुसार, भरत प्रक्रियेची कार्यवाही झाल्याने तृतीयपंथी उमेदवाराला नोकरी मिळण्याचा मार्ग मोकळा झाला आहे.
