CG TET 2019 Eligibility Criteria

For Paper 1 – Primary Teachers

• Applicant must have passed senior secondary or equivalent exam with at least 50% marks
• Candidates passed/appearing in two-year diploma in elementary education are eligible.
• Applicants having 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) can also apply.
• Aspirants possessing 2 years diploma in education (Special Education) are also eligible.
• Candidates with B.A/B.Sc degree and B.Ed. with no less than 50 % marks can also apply.

For Paper 2 – Upper Primary Teachers

• The aspirant should have passed B.A/B.Sc. /D.Ed. with at least 50% marks.
• Applicant should be passed or appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education/4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.)/Bachelor in Education/4 year BA/B.Sc.Ed/1 year B.Ed (Special Education).
