राज्य सरकारी कर्मचारी संघटनांनी पुकारलेला संप लांबत असल्याने त्याचा परिणाम राज्यातील सरकारी रुग्णसेवेवर होत आहे. रुग्णसेवा सुरळीत व्हावी यासाठी रुग्णालयांमध्ये तातडीने तात्पुरत्या स्वरुपात कंत्राटी पद्धतीने कर्मचाऱ्यांची भरती करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. कक्ष सेवक, शिपाई, सफाई कामगार यांची कामे या कंत्राटी कर्मचाऱ्यांकडून करून घेण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती जे.जे. रुग्णालयाच्या अधिष्ठाता डॉ. पल्लवी सापळे यांनी दिली आहे.

जुनी निवृत्ती वेतन योजना लागू करण्यासंदर्भात राज्य सरकार आणि कर्मचारी संघटनांमध्ये एकमत होत नसल्याने संप लांबला आहे. या संपाचा राज्यातील आरोग्य सेवेवर विपरित परिणाम होऊ लागला असून, त्याचा फटका रुग्णसेवेला बसत आहे. संपाच्या सुरुवातील जे.जे. रुग्णालय, जी.टी. रुग्णालय, कामा रुग्णालय आणि सेंट जॉर्जेस रुग्णालयामध्ये मुंबई महानगरपालिकेतील काही कर्मचारी, परिचारिका आणि शिकाऊ परिचारिकाची नियुक्ती करण्यात आली होती. तसेच संपात सहभागी न झालेल्या काही बदली कामगारांच्या माध्यमातून रुग्णसेवा पुरविण्यावर भर देण्यात येत होता. मात्र संप अधिकच चिघळत असल्याने रुग्णालयातील आरोग्य सेवा सुरळीत चालावी यासाठी कंत्राटी पद्धतीने कर्मचाऱ्यांची भरती करण्याचा निर्णय घेण्यात आला. त्यानुसार चतुर्थ श्रेणी कर्मचाऱ्यांची कामे करण्यासाठी लवकरच जे.जे. रुग्णालय, कामा रुग्णालय, सेंट जॉर्जेस आणि जी.टी. रुग्णालयात तात्पुरत्या स्वरुपात कंत्राटी पद्धतीने कर्मचारी घेण्यात येणार आहेत. रुग्णालयातील कक्ष सेवक, आया, सफाई कामगार आणि शिपाई यांची कामे करण्यासाठी हे कंत्राटी कर्मचारी घेण्यात येणार असल्याची माहिती डॉ. पल्लवी सापळे यांनी दिली.

प्रशासकीय प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करूनच नियुक्ती

संप चिघळल्यास रुग्णसेवा मोठ्या प्रमाणावर बाधित होण्याची शक्यता आहे. रुग्णसेवा बाधित होऊ नये यासाठी राज्य सरकारकडून हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे. त्याची तातडीने अंमलबजावणी करण्यात येणार असली तरी प्रशासकीय प्रक्रिया पूर्ण करूनच कंत्राटी कर्मचाऱ्यांची नियुक्ती करण्यात येणार आहे. त्यामुळे त्याला काही अवधी लागण्याची शक्यता असल्याचे डॉ. पल्लवी सापळे यांनी सांगितले.
