Apply for Girls Government Hostel Admission: Government provides free accommodation in hostels for working backward class women. Applicants have to pay the admission and registration fees of Rs 5, 000/- Applications are invited from aspirants for admission to this hostel from 17th to 30th August 2022.
नोकरी करणाऱ्या मागासवर्गीय महिलांना शासकीय वसतिगृह
With the progressive change in the socio-economic fabric of the country more and more women are leaving their homes in search of employment in big cities as well as urban and rural industrial clusters. One of the main difficulties faced by such women is lack of safe and conveniently located accommodation. The Government of India being concerned about the difficulties faced by such working women, introduced a scheme in 1972-73 of grant-in- aid for construction of new/ expansion of existing buildings for providing hostel facilities to working women in cities, smaller towns and also in rural areas where employment opportunities for women exist. Based on an evaluation, the existing scheme has been revised to promote availability of safe and conveniently located accommodation for working women who need to live away from their families due to professional commitments.
नोकरी करणाऱ्या मागासवर्गीय महिलांकरिता बोरिवली येथील वसतिगृहात शासनामार्फत मोफत निवासाची व्यवस्था करण्यात येते. या वसतिगृहाच्या प्रवेशाकरिता इच्छुकांकडून १७ ते ३० ऑगस्ट २०२२ पर्यंत प्रवेश अर्ज मागविण्यात येत आहेत.

- अर्जदार महिला महाराष्ट्राची रहिवासी असावी
- अर्जदार महिला अनुसूचित जाती, अनुसूचित जमाती, विमुक्त जाती व जमाती, भटक्या जमाती, इतर मागास प्रवर्ग, विशेष मागास प्रवर्ग, अनाथ या वर्गवारीतील असावी.
- अर्जदार महिला ज्या ठिकाणी नोकरी करीत असेल तेथील सक्षम अधिकाऱ्याने दिलेले नेमणुकीच्या अथवा बदलीच्या आदेशाची प्रत अथवा रूजू झाल्याबाबतचे प्रमाणपत्र अर्जासोबत सादर करणे बंधनकारक असेल.
- अर्जदाराचे जवळचे नातेवाईक उदा. आई, वडील, पती हे संबंधित महानगरपालिका क्षेत्राच्या हद्दीत राहणारे नसावे
- अर्जदार नोकरी करणाऱ्या महिलेचे मासिक उत्पन्न हे रु. ३०,०००/- पेक्षा जास्त नसावे.
- अशा महिलांचे मासिक उत्पन्न यापेक्षा जास्त झाल्यास त्यांना वसतिगृह सोडावे लागेल.
- काम करणाऱ्या महिला जास्तीत जास्त तीन वर्षापर्यंत या वसतिगृहात राहण्याची मुभा राहील. त्यानंतर त्यांना वसतिगृह सोडणे अनिवार्य राहील.वसतिगृहात प्रवेश घेतेवेळी रु.५०००/- इतकी अनामत रक्कम म्हणून वसतिगृहाच्या व्यवस्थापकांकडे जमा करावी लागेल.

- इच्छुक पात्र महिलांनी विहित नमुन्यातील अर्ज पुढीलप्रमाणे कागदपत्रांसह सादर करावेत
- अर्जदार ज्या ठिकाणी काम करीत आहे,
- तेथील सक्षम अधिकाऱ्याचे दिलेले नेमणुकीचे अथवा बदलीचे आदेश तसेच तेथे रुजू झाल्याबाबतचे प्रमाणपत्र
- वेतनाचे प्रमाणपत्र
- सक्षम वैद्यकीय अधिकाऱ्याने विहित नमुन्यात दिलेला वैद्यकीय दाखला,
- दोन पासपोर्ट फोटो
- ओळखपत्र (पासपोर्ट आधारकार्ड/संबंधित पत्र) आवश्यक आहे.
- वसतिगृहात प्रवेश घेतेवेळी रु.५०००/- इतकी अनामत रक्कम म्हणून वसतिगृहाच्या व्यवस्थापकांकडे जमा करावी लागेल.
- सहायक आयुक्त, समाज कल्याण, मुंबई उपनगर, प्रशासकीय इमारत, ४ था मजला, आर. सी. मार्ग, चेंबूर (पू.), मुंबई-७१ येथे जमा करावे.
- वसतिगृहाच्या प्रवेशाकरिता इच्छुकांकडून १७ ते ३० ऑगस्ट २०२२ पर्यंत अर्ज जमा करण्याचे आव्हान करण्यात आले आहे.
Eligibility Criteria
The following are the categories of working women and their children are also being eligible to avail the benefits under this Working Women Hostel Scheme:
- Working women: The working women those who are covered under this scheme would be single, divorced, widowed, married, separated but whose husband or relations does not reside in the same city or area.
- The preference would be given to the women from the underserved community
- There must be also provided for the reservation of seats for the handicapped beneficiaries.
- Women: The women undertaking the training for a job are provided with total training period which does not exceed one year.
- This facility provided on the specific condition that there is a vacancy available after accommodating working women.
- The number of women under the job training must not exceed 30% of the total capacity.
- Girls age would be up to 18 years and the boy’s age to be of 5 years, accompanying working mothers will be granted accommodation, with their mothers. The working mothers would also avail of the facilities of the Day Care Centre, as provided under this scheme.
Beneficiaries for Working Women Hostel Scheme
- Following categories of working women and their children are being covered under this
Scheme: - (i) Working women, who may be single, widowed, divorced, separated, married but whose husband or immediate family does not reside in the same city/area. Particular preference may be given to women from disadvantaged sections of the society. There should be also provision for reservation ofseats for physically challenged beneficiaries.
- (ii) Women who are under training for job provided the total training period does not exceed one year. This is only on the condition that there is vacancy available after accommodating working women. The number of women under training for job should not exceed 30% of the total capacity.
(iii) Girls up to the age of 18 years and boys up to the age of 5 years, accompanying working mothers will be provided accommodation, with their mothers. Working mothers may also avail of the services of the Day Care Centre, as provided under the scheme.
