On Government order, Backward candidates are ineligible who applied for MPSC exam from open category. For this reason High Court postponed the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) recruitment process till 1st February.
Last year, MPSC conduct exam for recruitment of Police Sub – Inspector. Candidate might get entry, on basis of marks backward category candidates did application through through ladies & sport quota. Also these candidates clear written examination. On next step of recruitment process that is oral exam, selection committee ask students for there castes & it was found that students are from backward category. As soon as MPSC found this MPSC declared these candidates ineligible the examination.
The same thing also happens with other examinations. High court already declared that, on basis of marks, candidate can apply from open category. Still State Government & MPSC are not allowing such students for examination.
