जळगाव जिल्ह्यातील रिक्त असलेल्या पोलिस पाटील व कोतवालांच्या ३८० जागांसाठी येत्या दोन दिवसांत भरती प्रक्रिया राबविण्यात येणार आहे. महिनाभर चालणाऱ्या या प्रक्रियेद्वारे कोतवालांच्या ८१ तर पोलिस पाटील पदाच्या ३०० जागा भरण्यात येणार आहेत.
जिल्ह्यातील १५ तालुक्यांत १५०४ गावे आहेत. या भागातील सजाची संख्या ५०१ आहे. त्यादृष्टीने कोतवालांची ४९५ पदे मंजूर आहेत. त्यापैकी ३९५ कोतवाल कार्यरत असून, रिक्तपदांच्या ८० टक्के प्रमाणात कोतवालांच्या जागा भरण्यात येणार आहेत. तर पोलिस पाटील पदासाठीही आरक्षणनिहाय भरती होणार आहे. जिल्ह्यात सद्य:स्थितीला जवळपास ३३० पदे रिक्त आहेत.

As per the order of the government in Jalgaon city and taluka, the work of establishing new Saje & Mandals is going on in the district by the jalgaon revenue department. Earlier there were 501 in the district. 146 have been increased in it. Due to this now 647 have been decorated. Earlier there were 86 revenue mandals. There has been an increase of 24 mandals and it has become 110. Due to the increase in number of seats and mandals, it will be easier for the revenue department to issue certificates to the citizens of the respective area, and the new area will also get revenue status. Revenue will be collected accordingly. Sources in the revenue department informed that 208 posts will soon be recruited to work in the newly increased Saje. जळगाव शहरासह तालुक्यात शासनाच्या आदेशानुसार नवीन सजे, मंडलांची स्थापना करण्याचे कामे महसूल विभागातर्फे जिल्ह्यात सुरू आहेत.  जिल्ह्यात पूर्वी ५०१ सजे होते. त्यात १४६ सजे वाढले आहेत. यामुळे आता ६४७ सजे झाली आहेत. पूर्वी ८६ महसुली मंडले होती. त्यात २४ मंडलांची वाढ होऊन ती ११० झाली आहेत. सजे व मंडले वाढीमुळे महसूल विभागाला संबंधित परिसराच्या नागरिकांना दाखले देणे सोईचे होणार असून, नवीन परिसराला महसुली दर्जाही मिळणार आहे. त्यानुसार महसूल वसुली होणार आहे. नवीन वाढलेले सजे, मंडलात काम करण्यासाठी २०८ पदांची लवकरच भरती होणार असल्याची माहिती महसूल विभागाच्या सूत्रांनी दिली.

1. पूर्वीच्या सजे, मंडलांची रचना सुमारे ५० वर्षांपूर्वीची आहे. तेव्हाचा परिसर, लोकसंख्येचा विचार करता त्यात पाच ते दहापट वाढ झाली आहे. त्यामानाने सजे, मंडलांची संख्या कमी होती. त्या परिसरातील एकाच तलाठी, मंडलाधिकाऱ्याकडे अनेक गावांचा कार्यभार होता. यामुळे महसुली कामे करताना ओढाताण करावी लागत असे.
2. यामुळे शासनाच्या आदेशानुसार नवीन सजे, मंडलांची निर्मितीची प्रक्रिया सुरू झाली आहे. २०८ पदांची भरती करण्यासाठी जिल्हा प्रशासनाने शासनाकडे प्रस्ताव पाठविला आहे. शासन राज्यस्तरावर एकावेळी भरतीची प्रक्रिया राबविणार आहे.
3. जळगाव शहर व तालुक्याचा विचार केल्यास एकूण ८७ गावे आहेत. तालुक्यात पूर्वी ३२ सजे होती. आता ४६ झाली आहेत. पूर्वी सहा मंडले होती, ती आता आठ झाली आहेत.
