The examination fee will be charged in this recruitment process as follows.

1. Non-Reserve Rs. 1000/-
2. Backward Class / Economically Weaker Sections / Orphans Rs. 900/-

As per the latest news 350 fire Brigade are going to be recruited in the Fire department of Nagpur Municipal Corporation. At the same time, two new fire stations will be constructed in view of the increasing population of the city. The city currently has nine fire stations and requires 346 personnel. At present, this center is managed by 47 employees. Deputy Commissioner Nirbhay Jain informed that nearly 350 employees will be recruited in the first phase. The figure of vacancies was submitted to the state government. With the approval of this figure by the government, the way for the recruitment of nearly 17 thousand 981 vacancies has been cleared. नागपूर अग्निशमन विभागात ३५० ‘फायर फायटर्स’ ची भरती

1. शहराचा वाढता विस्तार मोठमोठ्या इमारतींची निर्मिती यामुळे सध्या असलेले अग्निशमन विभागाचे ९ केंद्र अपुरे पडत आहेत. त्यामुळे ४ नवीन अग्निशमन केंद्र महापालिकेच्या हद्दीत निर्माण होत आहेत. यात पूर्व नागपुरात २, पश्चिम नागपुरात १ व मध्य नागपुरात १ केंद्र बनणार आहे. त्यामुळे शहरात आता अग्निशमनचे १३ केंद्र बनणार आहेत.
2. स्मार्ट सिटी अंतर्गत पारडी-पूनापूर येथे, वाठोड्यात बांधकामाला सुरुवात झाली आहे. वाठोड्यातील अग्निशमन केंद्राची ७ माळ्यांची इमारत आहे. झिंगाबाई टाकळी येथे अग्निशमन केंद्र राठोड लॉनजवळ होणार आहे. तर पाचपावलीचे बंद झालेल्या फायर स्टेशनचे पुनर्निमाण होणार आहे. या केंद्रात ४ अग्निशमन वाहने, अधिकारी व कर्मचाऱ्यांची क्वॉर्टर, ड्रिल टॉवर व परेड ग्राउंड राहतील.

दोन लाख लोकसंख्येमागे असावे एक केंद्र

• शहराची लोकसंख्या ३० लाखांवर गेली आहे. दोन लाख लोकसंख्येमागे एक अग्निशमन केंद्र असायला हवे, त्यानुसार शहरात १५ केंद्रांची व ८२२ कर्मचाऱ्यांची गरज आहे. विभागात २६५ कर्मचारी व अधिकारी कार्यरत असून, १४६ पदे रिक्त आहेत.
• वाटचालीचा विचार करता अग्निशमन विभागाला अत्याधुनिक यंत्रसामग्रीचे बूस्ट मिळण्याची गरज आहे. शहरात ६५ मीटरहून अधिक उंचीच्या टोलेजंग इमारती उभ्या राहात आहेत. विभागाकडे सुसज्ज यंत्रणेचा अभाव व मनुष्यबळाची कमतरता असल्याने कार्यक्षमतेवर मर्यादा आल्या आहेत.
