National Minority Scholarship for Girls Online Form

National Scholarship Portal (NSP) 2022 is a digital scholarship platform that carries multiple scholarships offered by the central government, state governments and different government agencies like UGC (University Grants Commission). The National Scholarship Portal hosts about 104 scholarship schemes worth hundreds of crores for the scholarship seekers registered on the platform.  According to officials, the platform has, so far, helped the government implement and disburse scholarships worth more than INR 2,700 crores. The platform boasts of more than 127 Lakh applications out of which over 84 Lakh applications are verified also.

National Scholarship Portal (NSP) – What it is?

Introduced as the Mission Mode Project under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP), the National Scholarship Portal emerges as one of the most prominent scholarship portals that offer a variety of services ranging from student scholarship application to the disbursal of scholarships to them. Offering a SMART (Simplified, Mission-oriented, Accountable, Responsive & Transparent) system for effective and faster disposal of scholarships, the portal ensures direct delivery of funds to the beneficiary’s account thereby avoiding any chances of leakage.

From now on, online application forms will be required for the Begum Hazrat Mahal National Scholarship for Minority Communities girls from Class IX to XII of the Central Government. For this, the interested girls are required to apply on the National Scholarship Portal. Accordingly, a scholarship of Rs. 5,000 each is given to the girls of class IX and X and Rs. 6,000 each for the girls of class XI and XII. The scholarship scheme will be implemented by the State Directorate of Minority and Adult Education.

केंद्र सरकारच्या (Central Government) इयत्ता नववी ते बारावीत शिक्षण (Education) घेत असलेल्या अल्पसंख्याक समाजातील (Minority Communities) मुलींसाठीच्या (Girls) बेगम हजरत महल राष्ट्रीय शिष्यवृत्तीसाठी (National Scholarship) यंदापासून ऑनलाईन अर्ज (Online Form) करावे लागणार आहेत. यासाठी इच्छुक असलेल्या मुलींना राष्ट्रीय शिष्यवृत्ती संकेतस्थळावर (नॅशनल स्कॉलरशिप पोर्टल) अर्ज करणे आवश्‍यक आहे. यानुसार इयत्ता नववी व दहावीच्या वर्गातील मुलींना प्रतिवर्षी प्रत्येकी पाच हजार रुपये तर, अकरावी व बारावीच्या वर्गातील मुलींसाठी सहा हजार रुपयांची शिष्यवृत्ती देण्यात येते. या शिष्यवृत्ती योजनेची राज्याच्या अल्पसंख्याक व प्रौढ शिक्षण संचालनालयामार्फत अंमलबजावणी केली जाणार आहे.

यासाठी राज्याचे अल्पसंख्याक व प्रौढ शिक्षण संचालक दिनकर पाटील यांची राज्य समन्वयक अधिकारी म्हणून नियुक्ती केली आहे. सरकारची मान्यता असलेल्या सर्व व्यवस्थापनाच्या व सर्व माध्यमांच्या शाळांमधून इयत्ता नववी ते बारावीच्या वर्गात शिक्षण घेत असलेल्या धार्मिक अल्पसंख्याक समाजातील (मुस्लिम ,ख्रिश्चन, बौद्ध, शीख, पारशी व जैन) मुली यासाठी पात्र आहेत.

अल्पसंख्याक समाजातील आर्थिक दुर्बल घटकातील मुलींचे शिक्षण आर्थिक कारणांमुळे शिक्षण अपूर्ण राहू नये, हा या शिष्यवृत्तीचा उद्देश आहे. यासाठी इच्छुक असलेल्या मुली या धार्मिक अल्पसंख्याक समाजातील असणे आणि मागील वर्षीच्या वर्गात किमान ५० टक्क्यांपेक्षा अधिक गुण असणे आवश्यक आहे. याशिवाय पालकांचे वार्षिक उत्पन्न दोन लाखापेक्षा कमी असावे लागते. एका कुटुंबातील जास्तीत जास्त दोन विद्यार्थिनींना या शिष्यवृत्तीचा लाभ घेता येतो, असे शिक्षण उपसंचालक राजेश क्षीरसागर यांनी सांगितले.

दरम्यान,सन २०२१-२२ मध्ये या शिष्यवृत्तीसाठी राज्यभरातून ४८ हजार ५५५ अर्ज प्राप्त झाले होते. यापैकी ४५ हजार ५४० अर्जांची पडताळणी झाली आहे. या योजनेतील अटींची पुर्तता न करणारे, अपूर्ण स्वरूपातील आणि कागदपत्रांची पूर्तता न झालेले अर्ज नाकारण्यात आल्याचे क्षीरसागर यांनी सांगितले.
