The new posts include 9 posts of Additional State Tax Commissioner, 30 State Tax Joint Commissioner, 36 State Tax Deputy Commissioners, 143 Assistant State Tax Commissioners, 275 State Tax Officers, 27 State Tax Inspectors and 2 Personal Assistant Short Writers Group-A.

The state’s tax collection accounts for 15 percent of the country’s tax collection. There is also a huge increase in revenue. GST accounted for 68 per cent of the state’s total revenue and the department needed to be restructured. Therefore, this decision has been taken.

वस्तू आणि सेवा कर विभागात नवीन 522 पदांची लवकरच भरती केली जाणार आहे. सोमवारी झालेल्या मंत्रिमंडळ बैठकीत याविषयीच्या सुधारित आकृतीबंधाला मान्यता देण्यात आली. बैठकीच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी मुख्यमंत्री एकनाथ शिंदे होते. तसेच वस्तू कर व सेवा कर विभागाच्या 12 हजार 259 पदांच्या सुधारित आकृतीबंधाला देखील मान्यता देण्यात आली.

नवीन पदांमध्ये 9 पदे अपर राज्य कर आयुक्त, 30 राज्य कर सह आयुक्त, 36 राज्य कर उपायुक्त, 143 सहायक राज्य कर आयुक्त, 275 राज्य कर अधिकारी, 27 राज्य कर निरिक्षक आणि 2 स्वीय सहायक लघुलेखक गट-अ अशा पदांचा समावेश आहे.

राज्याच्या कर संकलनाचा हिस्सा देशाच्या 15 टक्के आहे. तसेच महसुलामध्येही मोठ्या प्रमाणावर वाढ होत आहे. राज्याच्या एकूण महसुलात जीएसटीचा हिस्सा 68 टक्के असून विभागाची पुनर्रचना करण्याची गरज भासत होती. त्यामुळे हा निर्णय घेण्यात आला आहे.

 नागपूर :  केंद्रीय वस्तू व सेवा कराचे (सीजीएसटी) संकलन देशात मोठ्या प्रमाणात होत आहे. एकीकडे सरकार  रोजगार वाढविण्याची गोष्ट करीत आहे, तर दुसरीकडे अनेक शासकीय विभागात कर्मचारी आणि अधिकाऱ्यांची पदे रिक्त आहेत. देशाच्या केंद्रीय व कस्टम विभागात जवळपास ४५ टक्के पदे रिक्त असल्याची माहिती आहे. यासंदर्भातील डाटा केंद्रीय अप्रत्यक्ष कर बोर्डाने ६ ऑगस्टला वेबसाइटवर प्रकाशित केला आहे.

 आकडेवारीनुसार संपूर्ण देशात केंद्रीय जीएसटी व कस्टम विभागात ९१,७४४ पदे मंजूर आहेत. त्यापैकी ४८,३५२ पदांवर कर्मचारी कार्यरत, तर ४३,३९२ पदे अनेक वर्षांपासून रिक्त आहेत. रिक्त पदांमध्ये नागपूर झोनची स्थितीसुद्धा खराब आहे. नागपूर झोनमध्ये १४९२ पदे मंजूर आहेत. त्यामध्ये ८२२ पदांवर कर्मचारी कार्यरत असून ६७० पदे रिक्त आहेत. रिक्त पदांचा विपरीत आणि मानसिक कर्मचाऱ्यांवर परिणाम होत आहे. फेक इन्व्हाईसची अर्थात कोट्यवधींच्या करचोरीची प्रकरणे वाढली आहेत. त्याचा तपास आणि करचोरट्यांपर्यंत पोहोचणे कठीण होत आहे. जर १०० टक्के कर्मचारी कार्यरत राहतील, तर महसुलात आणखी वाढ होणार असल्याचे विभागातील अधिकारी म्हणाले.
