बारावी सायन्सची परीक्षा दिलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांना इंडियन नेव्हीत भरती होण्यासाठी प्रवेश परीक्षा देणे अनिवार्य असते. एक तास कालावधी व १०० गुण असे, या परीक्षेचे स्वरुप होते. अकरावी, बारावीला फिजिक्स विषय असलेल्या विद्यार्थीच या परिक्षेसाठी पात्र होतात. शहरातील तीन केंद्रांवर प्रत्येकी २५० ते ३०० विद्यार्थ्यांनी ही परीक्षा दिली. विज्ञान, गणित, इंग्रजी व सामान्य ज्ञान या विषयांवर आधारित प्रश्न परीक्षेत होते.
